Cooling Ecosphere on air-conditioner

Today cooling ecosphere topic is on the effect of using air-condition. In a blazing hot day the first thing most people would thing of in turning on the air-conditioner to cool them up, but is it cooling the ecosphere?

Studies have shown that by turning on the air-conditioner at anytime of the day regardless of whether its hot or cold it will emits large amount of carbon dioxide into the air contributing to global warming. As the world population increases more home and air-conditioners are used increasing carbon dioxide emission. Air-conditioner is very useful in cooling us up, but certainly not cooling the ecosphere.
